Most international guests arrive through Liberia (LIR) or San José (SJO). Nosara (NOB) can also work as a domestic connection, especially for lighter luggage. US Dollars and Costa Rican Colones are both commonly used in Nosara. Many restaurants and established businesses accept cards, but carrying a small amount of cash is useful for small local purchases or when connectivity affects card terminals.
